The Xiaomi smart home system(home automation) consist of 4 parts:
1. Sensors, to detect the status of door, window, human/pet motion, room temperature, humidity, etc
2. Action components, to take specified action in specified condition, which detected by sensors.
3. HUB (multifunction gateway), the control center of the smart home system. It communicates with ① or ② by protocol Zigbee – receive status information from sensors, and send demands to action components.
4. App Mijia, to connect with the HUB via WiFi, and through the HUB connect with sub-devices (sensors and action components). Under help of the APP you can set automation scenes.
